Well... I kept with my plans and put in some serious applications over spring break.

I applied to at least one opening that I felt qualified for at each of the following companies in Chicago:

- Accenture
- Aon Corporation
- Chicago Mercantile Exchange
- Exelon Corporation
- GATX Corporation
- Morton Salt
- National Stock Exchange
- NAVTEQ
- Northern Trust
- R.R. Donnelley & Sons

It took a lot of time, I created a custom cover letter for each of the application that played towards the specific company and opening.

I try to keep my expectations low but it seems reasonable that I should at least hear back from one or two...

Well, I have everything purchased and confirmed now...

I will be staying at:

Harrah's Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Checkin: June 17

Checkout: July 1

I am flying out of Columbus at 4:00PM June 17 and leaving Vegas at 8:30AM on July 1...

Anyway, I decided to book at Harrah's because it ended up being a pretty cheap room and it is very close to the Rio where I will be spending a lot of my time. They have a free shuttle that runs back and forth every 30 min and runs pretty late. Its not the nicest hotel on the strip by any means but I my reason for going to Vegas wasn't really a luxury hotel.

I hope that some people will decide to stay with me... My room has two queen size beds so I am planning to try and get some guests. I will sell the other bed for $40 a night, so up to two people can share it for 20 a piece if they would like...

I know that my brother and my girlfriend will probably be trying to stay part of the time, and I already have some people interested. So if you for sure want to reserve the spot just let me know and pay up front.

I am also going to be selling some % of my action for the WSOP events only. I will post the exact details here once I am completely sure of exactly what events I will be playing and all of the details.

Well I finally got a little better spot of blogging...

I decided to go with this so that I can post updates from my phone when I am in Vegas. I figured this will be the easiest way to let everyone know what is going on. I plan to send updates here whenever I can use my phone during the events. I don't think I am actually allowed to have a phone at the table, but I will update on breaks or whatever.

It is still a ways off, so until then there might not be too many posts, who knows though I will probably write some random thoughts, maybe I will find a job.
